Update | January 2017
Happy New Year, guys!
I am still taking a hiatus from teaching while I raise my son. And I am now 35 weeks pregnant! I am scheduled to give birth to my daughter next month. I can’t wait to meet her!
I also can’t wait to get back to teaching and get back to making videos for Elemental English. As much as I love being a mom, being a teacher is my calling, and I’m a little empty inside without my students.
You can keep posting questions in YouTube comments. I will try to answer, but hopefully you can answer each other’s questions, too.
Best wishes, and with all my love,
Update | August 2016
I miss you! I still try to respond to YouTube comments to keep in touch with you, so please be patient with me if it takes me a while to respond. My son is 17 months old now, and he keeps me so busy. And I’m pregnant with my second baby!
I miss teaching and interacting with my students SO much. But right now, it’s time to be a full time mom, and I plan to get back to full time work in a couple of years.
Update | February 2016
I hope you are all doing great!
My son is almost 1 year old now — I can’t believe it!
Though I’m not creating new video lessons at the moment, I continue to answer your questions in the comments section on YouTube and Facebook, as well as via email, when time permits. Please forgive me if I am slow to reply. Being a mommy (and soon moving to a new house!) keeps me busy.
I’m still here, Elemental English is still active, and there will be more to come in the future! Keep in touch!
I’ve had such a wonderful summer, but it’s coming to an end! I took some time off from creating video lessons, so that I could focus on being a new mommy. (I love it!) But as the summer comes to an end, I’ll be getting back to work.
Be sure to subscribe to the Elemental English YouTube channel so that you can watch new video lessons as soon as they’re released.
If you’re new to Elemental English or you don’t check the Facebook page, you might be wondering why I’ve slowed down publishing lessons. Well, I have a really good excuse…. I am a new mommy!
My little baby boy just turned 4 months old, and he is the light of mine and my husband’s lives.
Now that I’m a full time mom and not a full time teacher, I have much less time to work on lessons. But I’m still creating lessons for you guys–I haven’t quit!…. I’m just A LOT slower! 🙂
I’m still always thinking of you guys and how I can create the best lessons for you. So feel free to send in requests for lessons and questions.
